Services for William "Max" McCuiston, 67, of Murray will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Harbor Church with Dr. Art Heinz officiating. Burial will be in Murray City Cemetery.
Mr. McCuiston died at 6 a.m. Saturday at his home.
A native of Calloway County, Mr. McCuiston was the owner and operator of Max's 641 Citgo Gas Station for 40 years. He formerly worked at Murray Fire Department and was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Sarah Sykes McCuiston; three sons, William Michael "Mickey" McCuiston, Mark Steven McCuiston and Monty Lyn McCuiston, all of Murray; four grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister. His parents were Richard Talmadge McCuiston and Lela Davenport McCuiston.
