2025 IN REVIEW

A mashup of 2025 photos comprised of people, scenery and perhaps a few wildlife pics. No captions but you all know who you are (even if you don’t know where you are)!

January found us heading to northern Minnesota to catch up with winter birding, something we’d not done for years.  February was Tom’s reverse shoulder replacement surgery (followed by months of physical therapy). April it was Carol’s turn - a new hip. And more PT. As we were once more living in Wisconsin, there was not need for an annual return visit. Instead we availed ourselves of farmers markets, supper clubs and seeing more of family. However, August required a trip west to Wyoming to attend granddaughter Cali’s outdoor wedding to her fiancé Daniel. September held two reunions. One for Carol’s family and the second Tom’s 60th high reunion. By the time November rolled around it was time for our bird tour to Northwest Argentina. Alas, owing to some unseen physical issues, Carol’s mobility prevented her from going on the tour. Shortly after Tom’s return from Argentina, it was time for his second reverse shoulder replacement surgery. The remainder of the year will be overshadowed by more physical therapy as we work our way through the holidays.
