The purpose of this web site is to provide details about about our classmates and class related future events. Also, frequent updates on class news are to be found at the Class of 1965 Facebook page which has been active since our 45th Reunion in September, 2010. It’s a closed list but open to all Class of 1965 classmates. Just click on the “Join” button to be added to find out what’s been happening with class members.
Our class’s 50th milestone reunion in 2015 was huge success. Half a century? It’s hard to believe that 50 years have come and gone. Since the 50th, many of our classmates are finding themselves celebrating retirement, and with retirement, have come a rash of changes of addresses, both physical and electronic. Please checkout the Contact Classmates page to review your own contact information. Let us us know if it needs updating by using resources found on the Update Your Contact Info page. And while you’re at it, there are classmates we’ve lost touch with over time. Check out the Missing Classmates page and let us know if you know where they might be located. Will there be a 60 year reunion celebration? In a word “Yes!”. And it was a huge success!! Sorry if you were unable to attend. Lots of photos posted to the class FB page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/AppletonHS1965).
Will there be another reunion? The Reunion Committee met Wednesday September 24 for a reunion debriefing and to discuss possible future reunion events. Thoughts about an annual reunion and/or a 65th reunion were shared but the notion to hold an 80th birthday party took hold. The possibility of an 80th birthday party was also brought up by some of the classmates during the reunion itself .
The committee agreed with the 80th birthday idea so we’re shooting for two years from now when most if not all all of our classmates will have become octogenarians.
The plan thus far is to hold a party in the Fall of 2027. September seemed to work well. Hopefully it will be held at the Yacht Club which turned out to be a popular venue choice.

By the way, for those of you who might have wondered, we consumed 22 pizzas and had over 100 attendees at the 60th. Thank goodness for name tags!
