Blanche and George met in Chicago in 1919. Blanche and George moved to Oshkosh, WI in 1920, three months after the birth of Richard. Blanche and the three children moved to Appleton in 1936 following the death of George. She applied for and got the job of managing the Greyhound Bus Station in Appleton.

19 Apr 1960: Mrs. George E. Graham, 69, of 302-1/2 E. Washington Street died at 11:30 am Sunday after a short illness. She was born in Lake Geneva November 8 [sic], 1890 and lived in Appleton since 1936. She owned and operated Union Bus and Travel Bureau before retiring in 1948. Funeral services will be at 1:30 Tuesday at All Saints Episcopal Church, Appleton. Burial will be in the Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Barbara Sykes, two sons Richard, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and James Appleton, and four grandchildren.
