Sybil Sykes Willoughby, 92, of Paris, died Thursday night, April 28, 2005, at Paris Manor Nursing Center.
Her funeral will be at 10 AM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Roger Burke of Henry will officiate. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers are Harold, Leslie and Rusty Sykes, Brad Willoughby, Bernard Wofford and David Johnson.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM today and after 9 AM Saturday.
Born in Henry County on Oct. 20, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Elvis and Hettie Owens Sykes.
She was married on March 28, 1937, to Charles Eaker Willoughby, who died May 25, 1994.
Mrs. Willoughby worked for Tyson Co., Mitchum Co. and Salant & Salant, all formerly of Paris. She was a member of Henry Church of Christ. She also belonged to the former Palestine Community Club.
She leaves on son: Donald Willoughby of Paris; one daughter: Brenda (Don) Harget of Heber Springs, Ark.;
A brother-in-law: Lilburn Parker of Paris; a sister-in-law: Jane Sykes of Paris;
Three grandchildren: Carrie Johnson, Donna Bruce, Brad Willoughby; and
Five great-grandchildren: Kaylin and Kendal Johnson, Austin Paschall, Ty Bruce and Noah Willoughby.
She also was preceded in death by a sister: Keren Parker; and two brothers: Fred and Travis Sykes.
