Mrs. Zula Ann West Sykes, age 91, of Murray, KY died at 3:27pm Sunday at her home. She was born August 22,1919 in Murray, KY to the late William H. & Cora West. She was also preceded in death by her husband Arthur Ford Sykes on Feb. 22,1993.
Mrs. Sykes was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Ted Ford Sykes (Joy Riley) of Johnson City, TN, her daughter, Andrea Sykes Madison (Thomas), of Clayton, GA, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME, with Jim Stahler officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit after 11:00am Thursday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME.
